I'm currently working on a show at the Victoria baths in Manchester, an old swimming pool. It's a beautiful building with lovely stained glass windows and poolside changing cubicles. I have to spend 45 minutes during each show hiding in a cubicle in order to help with a quick costume change- so I've decided to challenge myself to design a dress/costume every day in order to occupy the other 44 minutes in which I'm stuck there! This should pass the time quickly as it's now a race against the clock, and keeps me feeling creatively inspired.
